Representation is where the photographer creates their own story in their images by the way they take it. They manipulate the audience to make them see what they are trying to create and not what is actually there. In the second image, we get the idea that the man in blue is drunk due to his position and the other people in the image are concerned at the other man on the floor.
Lewis Hine
Lewis Hine is really great with creating powerful images. The image on the left shows an innocent, little victim as a child laborer. We instantly feel sympathetic as the leading lines make us focus on her ans we know the things that she has been put through.
